All the rumors have been cleared out: Saul Canelo \u00c1lvarez will fight Gennady Golovkin<\/strong>. Canelo has declared this Monday that he will be fighting the kazakh boxer on September 17th. This is the end of the trilogy of a battle that left a lot of controversy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canelo published about the match on his social media<\/a> promising, as always, to bring the best fight to the public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canelo VS Golovkin III: is there a venue?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The place is yet to be confirmed, but it will most likely be at the crib of boxing: Las Vegas, Nevada. This will not be the first time of this two boxers competing in Vegas, however, it is the most awainted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canelo comes from a defeat against Dmitry Bivol by unanimous decision, which made us think that this fight would not take place in the next important dates for the boxing world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the fight against the Kazakh was practically scheduled and that is why it was made official to complete the trilogy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canelo\u00b4s record is 57 fights with victories, 39 of them by knockout, and he has two defeats. Golovkin, on the other hand, has a record of 42 wins, 37 of them by chloroform and only one loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
