How is the prize calculated for a Straight/Box play?
Your $1 Straight/Box wager is divided equally between Straight and Box playstyles. You can win by matching your 3 numbers in an exact order (Straight wager), or matching all 3 winning numbers in any order (Box wager).
For example, if you play 1-2-3 for Straight/Box and those numbers win, you’ll win both wagers. If the Straight prize is $500 and the Box prize is $200, you’ll win half the Straight prize – $250, plus half the Box prize – $100, for a total of $350.

Where and when can I play Daily 3?
You’ll find Daily 3 at all Lottery retailers. Draws take place twice a day, and your entry must be made before 1 p.m. to be eligible for the first draw, and before 6:30 p.m. to be eligible for the second draw. Winning numbers are available at any Lottery retailer, through some media outlets, and at Past Winning Numbers.
What is an automated draw machine?
An Automated Draw Machine is a computer that isn’t connected to any other system. In fact, any type of tampering is impossible because the hard drive can’t be opened without breaking a numbered security seal and the programs that generate random numbers can’t be altered.
The Lottery has 2 Automated Draw Machines for daily draws, plus a back-up machine in case there’s an emergency. A randomized, unpredictable draw chooses which machine, and which randomized drawing method (mathematical algorithm or Random Number Generator) will be used. The numbers selected from either method are unpredictable and selected in an unbiased manner.

Collect your prize of up to $599 at any participating Lottery retail location.
Collect your prize over $599 at any Lottery District Office or by mail. Bring your winning ticket and a completed Winner Claim Form to a District Office. Pick up the Winner Claim Form at any Lottery District Office or download the Claim Form (PDF).
If you have a Claim Authorization Receipt from a retailer, submit that, too. We recommend sending the claim form ticket and Authorization Receipt (if you have it) by certified mail and save a copy of every item you submit.
