The NFL tight end revealed in his 2015 book ‘It’s Good To Be Gronk’ that he has never had to spend any of his salary, and instead has been able to live exclusively off his money earned through endorsements.
“You don’t know how long you’re going to be in the league for. It’s a short career here in the league,” Gronkowski once said.
“The average is about three to four years, and when it’s done, it’s done. Be simple, manage it safe, so when it’s done you’ve got a little base, a little foundation to live off.”
The companies Gronkowski has been linked with during his career include: Tide, Nike, Dunkin’ Donuts, Visa, T-Mobile, Lyft and Cheerios, among others.
Plb sports also released a cereal called Gronk Flakes in 2012, which was followed three years later by Gronk’s Hot Sauce.
Monster Energy also added a ‘Gronk’ flavour in 2016 to their line-up of energy drinks.
