The recently retired actor Bruce Willis made headlines this past few days due to the confession of his wife, model Emma Heming, that the actor’s aphasia and the care he needs are complicating her mental health. However, now it has been an old acquaintance of Willis, Cybill Shepherd, who decided to talk about the working relationship they both had in the 1980s and the enormous attraction they felt for each other.

Shepherd and Willis: the love story
Shepherd and Willis starred in the hit series Moonlighting, which ran from 1985 to 1989, in which the pair played detectives who constantly maintained a romantic tension that was a hit with audiences.
All fans of the series waited for the moment when their characters, Madelyn “Maddie” Hayes and David Addison Jr. finally confessed their love and ended up together, but that very formula was the key to the show’s success.
However, the attraction between the two could not only be seen on screen, as it also happened in real life, as Shepherd confessed, assuring that since their first meeting, when they both auditioned for the series, sparks flew between them.
“My temperature went up 10 degrees, that meant two things to me: One, I was very attracted to him. Two, I would never act on it ’cause we were both very attracted to each other,” she told “Extra” at the Race to Erase MS gala.
“No one else was ever considered for the part…. I will always love Bruce,” she added.
